Parma housing prices -when will it stop?

My family moved here when I was a kid. The median home value here is around $157,600, which is actually reasonable. Homes are going for about $157,600 on average. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Any advice would be great.

As someone who grew up here, it's not perfect but it works for me. A lot has changed in the past few years though. public transit used to be much wild but now it's hit or miss.

Came here for a fresh start and stayed because it exceeded my expectations. The pet-friendliness is honestly decent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in Old Town for 4 years. Moved from Minneapolis for work. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is tough. We bought in 2021 at k and it's now worth down slightly than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 4-bed in a safe area. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts.

**Employment:**
healthcare is strong here. consulting is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are wild for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
it's been a really good experience overall. The outdoor scene is improving - we have rivers within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Old Town schools are average. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Winters are long and cold. Limited high-paying job options. And school system can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For families, I'd say this is a 7/10. Happy to answer more specific questions.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

Bought a house here in 2016 and I genuinely enjoy living here. Property values have gone up significantly since then.

I've lived in Meadowbrook for about 6 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's exactly what I was looking for. When I first moved here from LA, I was surprised by dating scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good schools in most areas
- Strong job market in several industries
- The healthcare scene is challenging

The downsides:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Limited shopping options

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for remote workers. Definitely worth checking out..
