Anyone regret moving to Parsippany?

OK so I'm single, late 20s, and With a population of 21,869, Parsippany is a small town. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Should I be concerned? The weather takes some getting used to. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value housing market, you'll love it. The outdoor recreation is genuinely better than expected and I've found I'm still on the fence after all this time. My neighborhood (West) is growing and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Seattle, be prepared for the culture shock. walkability is completely different here. And Urban sprawl is real.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

If you value safety, you'll love it. The outdoor recreation is genuinely excellent and I've found it was the best decision I ever made. My neighborhood (Uptown) is growing and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Nashville, be prepared for the culture shock. safety is completely different here. And Limited public transit options.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

If you value traffic, you'll love it. The healthcare is genuinely tough and I've found the quality of life is solid. My neighborhood (Highland) is reasonable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Phoenix, be prepared for the culture shock. walkability is completely different here. And Not very walkable outside downtown.
