Best hidden gems in Pasadena

Hey everyone, My family moved here when I was a kid. The median home value here is around $1,045,000, which is pretty steep. Poverty rate is 7.9%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $103,778, which feels pretty solid for the area. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Any advice would be great. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

As someone who grew up here, it's been a really good experience overall. A lot has changed in the past few years though. outdoor recreation used to be much wild but now it's tough.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are hit or miss, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
