Anyone else feel this way? I'm originally from Tucson and It's a a mid-size city city with about 136K people. With a population of 136K, Pasadena is a mid-size city. Crime rate is something to consider — Pasadena sits at 432.0 per 100K. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.
