Anyone else feel this way? Just moved here 3 months ago and The median home value here is around $337,300, which seems about average. With a population of 1,015, Passapatanzy is a small town. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. We moved here with our family and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Schools in Highland area are pretty good. Kids love it here.

My experience has been mostly positive. I have mixed feelings honestly. The only thing I'd watch out for is traffic. Other than that, Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a nurse who relocated here from Denver about 3 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and a job opportunity.
Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Active local events and festivals
- Strong sense of community
Cons that are real:
- Nightlife is limited
- Limited entertainment options
Financially, we've found it pretty good compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are wild, gas is better than expected.
Socially, I love the pace of life here. No regrets on my end..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem improving.
I've been here 2 years and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The thing nobody mentions is nightlife. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the cost of living is legit. And if you're into surfing, this place is hit or miss.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Eastside side vs the The Heights side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
