Curious what people think. I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Homes are going for about $446,700 on average. The median home value here is around $446,700, which is pretty steep. The unemployment rate is 2.7%, which is pretty low. Rent is about $2,191/month for a decent place. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Has anyone dealt with this? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.
