The good and bad of living in Patillas zona urbana

Alright, We have two kids and Median household income is $14,398, which feels on the lower side for the area. You can expect to pay around $507 for rent here. Average temperature is around 78--F, so it's warm year-round. It's a a small town city with about 2,864 people. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

Pros:
- Friendly people
- Nice parks and trails
- Active local events
- Good airport connections

Cons:
- Cold winters
- Not very walkable
- Few job opportunities in some fields
Is this normal for Patillas zona urbana? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The city has invested a lot in new development. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The weather takes some getting used to. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Hot take but I'm still on the fence after all this time. I know a lot of people disagree but after 4 years here, that's my honest assessment.
