Moving to Patterson for work -advice?
Been meaning to ask this. My family moved here when I was a kid. The unemployment rate is 4.1%, which is about average. Homes are going for about $137,200 on average. Rent is about $745/month for a decent place. Average temperature is around 70--F, so it's warm year-round. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Has anyone dealt with this? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The weather takes some getting used to. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.
