Longtime lurker here, I'm originally from Albuquerque and Crime rate is something to consider -Pawtucket sits at 406.8 per 100K. Homes are going for about $286,200 on average. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Anyone in a similar situation? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good.
