What Pawtucket does better than anywhere else

Hey folks, Been living here since 2009. Crime rate is something to consider -Pawtucket sits at 406.8 per 100K. Rent is about $1,152/month for a decent place. Homes are going for about $286,200 on average. With a population of 75,280, Pawtucket is a smaller city. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The weather takes some getting used to. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

I've been living here for 1 years and I'd say it was the best decision I ever made. The school system is surprisingly good compared to other places I've lived. Overall Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Hot take but there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. I know a lot of people disagree but after 10 years here, that's my honest assessment.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are excellent, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

I work in manufacturing here and I have mixed feelings honestly. The job market for my field is challenging. Hope this helps!.
