Hi all, You can expect to pay around $1,902 for rent here. Poverty rate is 5.1%, which is pretty low. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Am I overthinking this? Thanks!

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Compared to Houston it's average.

I'm a data analyst and I've found it's not perfect but it works for me. The community is improving and there's always something going on.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 12 years ago from Charlotte and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Highland. It's surprisingly good for what you get.
Jobs: The market is established right now, especially in manufacturing. If you're in government you might struggle.
People: Generally tough. It took about 16 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like Italian.
