Cost of living reality check -Peach Springs

OK so We're a young couple and Household incomes average around $49,286 in Peach Springs. Poverty rate is 38.1%, which is higher than I expected. Median household income is $49,286, which feels on the lower side for the area. Rent is about $655/month for a decent place. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

Pros:
- Affordable cost of living
- Great weather
- Diverse community
- Lots of new development

Cons:
- Traffic can be terrible
- Limited public transit
- Hot summers
- Rising rent prices
- High property taxes
What neighborhoods would you suggest? The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

The food scene here is hit or miss. Tons of great BBQ places. I love the pace of life here.

I work in consulting here and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The job market for my field is underrated. Feel free to reach out with questions..

My experience has been mostly positive. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The only thing I'd watch out for is healthcare. Other than that, Feel free to reach out with questions..
