Relocating to Peachtree City, GA -pros and cons?

I'm a college student here and Household incomes average around $111,421 in Peachtree City. Median household income is $111,421, which feels pretty solid for the area. With a population of 38,977, Peachtree City is a smaller city. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Let me know your thoughts. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a writer who relocated here from Dallas about 5 years ago. The main reasons were weather and work.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good internet infrastructure
- Close to major attractions
- Good airport with direct flights

Cons that are real:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Homeless population growing downtown

Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are developing, gas is surprisingly good.

Socially, it's improved dramatically in recent years. Happy to answer more specific questions..
