What I wish I knew before living in Peachtree City

First post here. Born and raised here. You can expect to pay around $1,915 for rent here. Rent is about $1,915/month for a decent place. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Should I be concerned? Thanks!

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a contractor who relocated here from Houston about 2 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and school.

Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Close to major attractions

Cons that are real:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Homeless population growing downtown

Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are affordable, gas is tough.

Socially, I love the pace of life here. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

I've been living here for 4 years and I'd say there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The cultural scene is pretty good compared to other places I've lived. Overall Happy to answer more specific questions..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is traffic. the quality of life is solid. Worth doing your research before committing.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's not perfect but it works for me. The only thing I'd watch out for is food scene. Other than that, Would recommend to anyone considering it..
