What I wish I knew before living in Peachtree Corners

Hello, We're a young couple and Median household income is $81,413, which feels pretty solid for the area. Homes are going for about $467,300 on average. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Thoughts? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The city has invested a lot in new development. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

Moved here from San Diego about 5 years ago. I genuinely enjoy living here. Still getting used to cost of living but It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Compared to Raleigh it's hit or miss.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 15 years ago from Denver and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in East. It's underrated for what you get.

Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in finance. If you're in finance you might struggle.

People: Generally challenging. It took about 5 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like Asian.

Hope this helps!.
