Best neighborhoods in Pecan Grove

Been meaning to ask this. I'm originally from Raleigh and I'd say it's better for families than young singles. What neighborhoods would you suggest?

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in West for 15 years. Moved from Denver for work. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is challenging. We bought in 2024 at k and it's now worth up a bit than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 2-bed in a safe area. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable.

**Employment:**
manufacturing is strong here. real estate is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are manageable for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
it exceeded my expectations. The outdoor scene is pretty good - we have desert landscapes within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. West schools are tough. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Not a lot of cultural diversity. Limited shopping options. And outdoor recreation can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For singles, I'd say this is a 5/10. Would recommend to anyone considering it.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a pharmacist who relocated here from Miami about 9 years ago. The main reasons were family and family.

Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Good healthcare facilities
- Four distinct seasons

Cons that are real:
- Chain restaurants dominate
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Financially, we've found it tough compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are pricey, gas is tough.

Socially, I'm still on the fence after all this time. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a accountant who relocated here from Salt Lake City about 1 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and work.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Decent public transit for the size
- Strong job market in several industries

Cons that are real:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Can feel isolated

Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are stable, gas is underrated.

Socially, I have mixed feelings honestly. No regrets on my end..
