Hello, I'm originally from Los Angeles and The median home value here is around $252,400, which seems about average. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.
First post here. I'm retired and Poverty rate is 2.9%, which is pretty low. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The weather takes some getting used to. Any advice would be great. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.
Random thought, I grew up here but left for a while. Median household income is $96,250, which feels pretty solid for the area. You can expect to pay around $1,152 for rent here.
