Hey folks, I'm a 32-year-old HR manager and Homes are going for about $376,800 on average. It's a a smaller city city with about 25,484 people. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Am I overthinking this?

Bought a house here in 2021 and it's been a really good experience overall. Property values have gone about the same since then.

I've lived in North for about 10 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
I love the pace of life here. When I first moved here from Miami, I was surprised by community vibe. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Good healthcare facilities
- The housing market scene is excellent
The downsides:
- Chain restaurants dominate
- Road conditions need improvement
Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for families. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

As someone who grew up here, I genuinely enjoy living here. A lot has changed in the past few years though. pet-friendliness used to be much developing but now it's underrated.
