Is Pelham a good place to live?

I grew up here but left for a while. Median household income is $91,904, which feels pretty solid for the area. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. What would you do? The city has invested a lot in new development. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem tough.

I've been here 9 years and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The thing nobody mentions is healthcare. It's pricey and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the safety is legit. And if you're into fishing, this place is pretty good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Meadowbrook side vs the Fairview side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
