Pelham vs Chicago -which is better?

Curious what people think. I'm a college student here and Household incomes average around $38,838 in Pelham. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Would love some local perspective. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Internet is better than expected in most areas.
