Random thought, With a population of 5,648, Pelham Manor is a small town. Average temperature is around 56--F, so the weather is moderate. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Any advice would be great. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Public transit is hit or miss here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I genuinely enjoy living here.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a marketing manager who relocated here from Pittsburgh about 10 years ago. The main reasons were weather and family.
Pros I've experienced:
- Lots of new development happening
- Good internet infrastructure
- Affordable housing options
Cons that are real:
- Road conditions need improvement
- Far from beaches/mountains
Financially, we've found it better than expected compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are growing, gas is solid.
Socially, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Good luck with whatever you decide..
