I'm originally from Dallas and It's a a small town city with about 7,247 people. Average temperature is around 56--F, so the weather is moderate. Homes are going for about $891,900 on average. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Am I overthinking this? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.
