Hello, Household incomes average around $81,675 in Pembroke Pines. Crime rate is something to consider — Pembroke Pines sits at 203.3 per 100K. The unemployment rate is 2.6%, which is pretty low. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The city has invested a lot in new development. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

I've lived in South for about 12 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
the quality of life is solid. When I first moved here from Atlanta, I was surprised by nightlife. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Strong job market in several industries
- The nightlife scene is decent
The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Homeless population growing downtown
Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for remote workers. Good luck with whatever you decide..

Public transit is improving here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I genuinely enjoy living here.
