Is Pendleton getting better or worse?

OK so Been living here since 2009. The unemployment rate is 3.4%, which is pretty low. Poverty rate is 10.8%, which is around average. Homes are going for about $276,400 on average. Median household income is $70,179, which feels about average for the area. You can expect to pay around $938 for rent here. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Pros:
- Affordable cost of living
- Friendly people
- Diverse community
- Good airport connections

Cons:
- Limited public transit
- Limited nightlife
- Not very walkable
- Lack of diversity
- Far from major airports
What do you all think? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The food scene here is surprisingly good. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.
