Anyone else love living in Penitas?

Hey everyone, Just moved here 7 months ago and Household incomes average around $52,857 in Penitas. Median household income is $52,857, which feels on the lower side for the area. Poverty rate is 25.1%, which is higher than I expected. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The weather takes some getting used to. Does this match your experience? The city has invested a lot in new development. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The suburbs are where most families end up. The city has invested a lot in new development.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem better than expected.

I've been here 10 years and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The thing nobody mentions is cultural scene. It's established and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the food scene is legit. And if you're into surfing, this place is improving.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Westside side vs the Cedar Grove side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..

I've been here 6 years and I have mixed feelings honestly. The thing nobody mentions is nightlife. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the healthcare is legit. And if you're into photography, this place is solid.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Pine Hills side vs the Highland side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..

We moved here with our family and I'm still on the fence after all this time. Schools in Pine Hills area are solid. Kids love it here.
