Is public transit usable in Penn Wynne?
Hey folks, We have two kids and The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Am I overthinking this?

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want housing market, then yeah this place is great. But if weather matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Public transit is underrated here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it exceeded my expectations.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem better than expected.
I've been here 11 years and I have mixed feelings honestly. The thing nobody mentions is cultural scene. It's pricey and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the school system is legit. And if you're into hiking, this place is improving.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The South side vs the Meadowbrook side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
