Is it worth buying in Pennsboro?
Not sure if this has been asked before, but Any advice would be great. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

Came here for weather and stayed because I genuinely enjoy living here. The housing market is honestly hit or miss and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

As someone who grew up here, it's not perfect but it works for me. A lot has changed in the past few years though. healthcare used to be much competitive but now it's solid.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 5 years ago from Dallas and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Old Town. It's better than expected for what you get.
Jobs: The market is developing right now, especially in legal. If you're in healthcare you might struggle.
People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 7 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: hit or miss. Tons of options if you like Thai.
Definitely worth checking out..
