Hey, Military spouse here. The unemployment rate is 0.6%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $266,600 on average. Poverty rate is 7.8%, which is pretty low. Rent is about $1,360/month for a decent place. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.
