Commute times in Pennsville -how bad?
Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm a teacher here and Poverty rate is 8.9%, which is pretty low. You can expect to pay around $1,225 for rent here. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The city has invested a lot in new development. Has anyone dealt with this? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The city has invested a lot in new development. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.
