First post here. Homes are going for about $276,500 on average. Crime rate is something to consider -Pensacola sits at 590.9 per 100K. Average temperature is around 69--F, so the weather is moderate. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Does this match your experience? Any help is appreciated. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.
