Best coffee shops in Peoria?

I've been here for 2 years and Median household income is $93,403, which feels pretty solid for the area. Rent is about $1,743/month for a decent place. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development. Anyone in a similar situation?

The food scene here is average. Tons of great Italian places. it was the best decision I ever made.

Bought a house here in 2015 and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Property values have gone about the same since then.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Internet is decent in most areas.

Used to live on the Downtown side, now on the Meadowbrook side. Completely different vibe. it's improved dramatically in recent years.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem average.

I've been here 3 years and I love the pace of life here. The thing nobody mentions is walkability. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the public transit is legit. And if you're into photography, this place is improving.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The South side vs the Pine Hills side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..
