Best restaurants in Peoria?

Hi all, I grew up here but left for a while. The median home value here is around $429,400, which is pretty steep. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Thoughts? Any help is appreciated.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it's exactly what I was looking for. Internet is average in most areas.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a chef who relocated here from LA about 6 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and a fresh start.

Pros I've experienced:
- Strong job market in several industries
- Lots of new development happening
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Winters are long and cold
- Limited high-paying job options

Financially, we've found it average compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are stable, gas is excellent.

Socially, the quality of life is solid. Definitely worth checking out..
