Alright, I'm a remote worker and You can expect to pay around $1,743 for rent here. Median household income is $93,403, which feels pretty solid for the area. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Am I overthinking this? The food scene here is surprisingly good. The weather takes some getting used to. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

I've lived in West for about 8 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
I'm still on the fence after all this time. When I first moved here from LA, I was surprised by job market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Close to major attractions
- The walkability scene is tough
The downsides:
- Limited public transit options
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for couples. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Bought a house here in 2022 and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Property values have gone about the same since then.
