OK so Median household income is $93,403, which feels pretty solid for the area. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Worth the trade-offs? Looking forward to hearing from you all. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Hot take but it's not perfect but it works for me. I know a lot of people disagree but after 13 years here, that's my honest assessment.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 1 years ago from Miami and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Riverside. It's pretty good for what you get.
Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in construction. If you're in real estate you might struggle.
People: Generally excellent. It took about 15 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: hit or miss. Tons of options if you like BBQ.
Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
