Is Peoria good for remote workers?

Anyone else feel this way? Military spouse here. Homes are going for about $429,400 on average. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Has anyone dealt with this? Thanks! I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

The food scene here is excellent. Tons of great Mexican places. it's been a really good experience overall.

Moved here from Tampa about 4 years ago. the quality of life is solid. Still getting used to school system but Hope this helps!.
