Considering Peoria vs Cleveland -help me decide

OK so I'm originally from Salt Lake City and Average temperature is around 55--F, so expect cold winters. It's a a mid-size city city with about 112K people. The unemployment rate is 4.9%, which is about average. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The suburbs are where most families end up. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Hot take but I love the pace of life here. I know a lot of people disagree but after 5 years here, that's my honest assessment.
