Pros and cons of Perryville after 3 years

Curious what people think. I'm a nurse at the local hospital and With a population of 8,530, Perryville is a small town. Rent is about $929/month for a decent place. Household incomes average around $53,958 in Perryville. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The weather takes some getting used to. Has anyone dealt with this? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The weather takes some getting used to.

Used to live on the Springfield side, now on the North side. Completely different vibe. I have mixed feelings honestly.

I work in real estate here and it was the best decision I ever made. The job market for my field is better than expected. Hope this helps!.
