Just moved to Perth Amboy, any tips?

I work in tech and Household incomes average around $58,490 in Perth Amboy. The unemployment rate is 8.6%, which is concerning. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Has anyone dealt with this?

Hot take but I'm still on the fence after all this time. I know a lot of people disagree but after 13 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Weather-wise, the summers are improving and winters are pricey. You get used to it after the first year.

We moved here with our family and it's improved dramatically in recent years. Schools in Old Town area are improving. Kids love it here.

Public transit is pretty good here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I genuinely enjoy living here.
