I grew up here but left for a while. It's a a smaller city city with about 55,278 people. Poverty rate is 18.1%, which is higher than I expected. Crime rate is something to consider -Perth Amboy sits at 283.7 per 100K. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. What do you all think? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.
