Hey folks, The median home value here is around $84,000, which is actually reasonable. Poverty rate is 22.0%, which is higher than I expected. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Is this normal for Peru? Looking forward to hearing from you all. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The weather takes some getting used to. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The city has invested a lot in new development.
