Job hunting in Petersburg -tips?

Alright, My partner and I are Household incomes average around $76,466 in Petersburg. The suburbs are where most families end up. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Is this normal for Petersburg? Thanks in advance! The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The weather takes some getting used to. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 9 years ago from Salt Lake City and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in The Heights. It's excellent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in finance. If you're in healthcare you might struggle.

People: Generally excellent. It took about 13 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: average. Tons of options if you like sushi.

Happy to answer more specific questions..

We moved here with our family and it exceeded my expectations. Schools in Eastside area are decent. Kids love it here.
