Raising a family in Pewaukee -thoughts?

Anyone else feel this way? You can expect to pay around $1,281 for rent here. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem pretty good.

I've been here 14 years and it was the best decision I ever made. The thing nobody mentions is dating scene. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the cost of living is legit. And if you're into hiking, this place is pretty good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Uptown side vs the Meadowbrook side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..
