Anyone regret moving to Pharr?

Been meaning to ask this. You can expect to pay around $990 for rent here. The weather takes some getting used to. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

As someone who grew up here, it was the best decision I ever made. A lot has changed in the past few years though. housing market used to be much pricey but now it's decent.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are underrated, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is safety. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Worth doing your research before committing.
