Hey folks, I grew up here but left for a while. Household incomes average around $49,884 in Pharr. Crime rate is something to consider -Pharr sits at 290.5 per 100K. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. What are your go-to spots? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The weather takes some getting used to. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.
