Job hunting in Pharr -tips?

Alright, I'm a teacher here and Average temperature is around 77--F, so it's warm year-round. You can expect to pay around $990 for rent here. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it's exactly what I was looking for. Internet is challenging in most areas.

Used to live on the Riverside side, now on the Lakewood side. Completely different vibe. it's been a really good experience overall.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Internet is better than expected in most areas.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's improved dramatically in recent years. The only thing I'd watch out for is traffic. Other than that, It's not for everyone but it works for us..

I've lived in Springfield for about 1 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I have mixed feelings honestly. When I first moved here from Charlotte, I was surprised by walkability. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good schools in most areas
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- The traffic scene is average

The downsides:
- Limited public transit options
- Chain restaurants dominate

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for couples. No regrets on my end..
