Unpopular opinion about Pharr

OK so I relocated for work and You can expect to pay around $990 for rent here. Average temperature is around 77--F, so it's warm year-round. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Has anyone dealt with this?

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem underrated.

I've been here 11 years and I love the pace of life here. The thing nobody mentions is nightlife. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the healthcare is legit. And if you're into running, this place is challenging.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Oak Park side vs the Highland side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..
