Is Phoenix good for remote workers?

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 7 years ago from Phoenix and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Uptown. It's pretty good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in marketing. If you're in education you might struggle.

People: Generally better than expected. It took about 4 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: surprisingly good. Tons of options if you like Thai.

As someone who grew up here, I have mixed feelings honestly. A lot has changed in the past few years though. weather used to be much affordable but now it's improving.

Came here for quality of life and stayed because it's not perfect but it works for me. The outdoor recreation is honestly surprisingly good and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

My experience has been mostly positive. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The only thing I'd watch out for is housing market. Other than that, Happy to answer more specific questions..

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Riverside. It's surprisingly good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in retail. If you're in education you might struggle.

People: Generally decent. It took about 5 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: tough. Tons of options if you like Korean.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..
