Hello, I'm retired and The unemployment rate is 3.0%, which is pretty low. With a population of 19,062, Phoenixville is a small town. Poverty rate is 6.3%, which is pretty low. The weather takes some getting used to. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Worth the trade-offs? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Compared to San Diego it's solid.

Used to live on the Riverside side, now on the Cedar Grove side. Completely different vibe. I'm still on the fence after all this time.

Came here for a fresh start and stayed because I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The safety is honestly average and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
