I'm a college student here and The median home value here is around $146,500, which is actually reasonable. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Any advice would be great. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Property taxes are high but you get good services. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The suburbs are where most families end up.
