Is Piermont walkable?

Hi all, Average temperature is around 53--F, so expect cold winters. Median household income is $130,263, which feels pretty solid for the area. It's a a small town city with about 2,434 people. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Worth the trade-offs? Thanks for reading. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The suburbs are where most families end up.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 11 years ago from San Francisco and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Riverside. It's decent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in manufacturing. If you're in construction you might struggle.

People: Generally average. It took about 10 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like Thai.

Good luck with whatever you decide..
